Hello! I’m Kirby, a highly experienced bridal stylist in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I help modern, romantic and free spirited, brides by creating effortless hairstyles that are so secure it doesn’t matter what our crazy weather throws at us.
With my signature textured styles and unique specialty in crafting intricate braided details, all prom trauma is erased. Just beautiful, balanced updos tailored for you.
I love working with brides, and seeing the smile on their face when they see their finished hairstyle. There is no energy quite like a wedding morning!
When I’m not working weddings you can find me relaxing at home binge watching YA dramas, combing the beach for sea glass or out exploring our beautiful province with my partner and our black lab, Jett.

Dying to book you
After selecting services, a retainer is paid to hold the date and a service agreement is signed.
Preview my hairstyle
I will contact you to schedule the 2.5 hair preview appointment to meet and trial your wedding hair and select an accessory.
Planning
Closer to the date, I will be in touch to gather helpful details and prepare a getting ready schedule
Wedding Day
Your wedding day I will arrive on time and ready to get your bridal party looking amazing!

Yes. You have up to 2 months before the wedding date to make changes to your party numbers

Unfortunately no. I can only accommodate up to 7 styles on my own, the second stylist is essential to keep things moving smoothly and on time

I am located in Pictou so the travel radius will include the HRM region, Fox Harb’r Resort, Antigonish, Truro

For weddings further than 150km additional travel fees are charged at $1 per km, for one direction. Some distances may require accommodation be provided the night prior

You will be contacted by email to schedule your hair preview appointment. For best results, wear a white top similar to your dress neckline and have some makeup on. Each trial includes a blow-out before styling to ensure perfect results so there is no need to have your hair prepped before hand

No one needs extensions but they definitely can help with volume, length and curl retention. If I think you will benefit from extensions on your wedding day I will suggest it to you. Reminder that there are no extra fees for installing extensions or hair padding

If you wish to purchase clip in extensions I can assist you by colour matching and ordering the hair for you. No added stress or work on your end. If rental is more your vibe, I can connect you with in province, high quality clip in extension rentals
